Parkinson's Disease Support Group
The Cumberland area has been without a support group for Parkinson's Disease patients, family members and care givers for a number of years, and plans have been made to develop a Support Group.
Grace Memorial Community Church, on Seton Drive, has agreed to provide a meeting room for monthly meetings. An elevator and handicapped facilities are available. There will be a time for sharing, idea exchanges and an opportunity to encourage PD patients, family members and

The Allegany High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), will hold a Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A Queen City Centre from 5 – 8 pm, June 4, 2012. Proceeds from the Spirit Nights will benefit those students who qualified to represent Maryland at the FBLA National Leadership Conference to be held in San Antonio, TX in late June. To participate, please notify the Chick-fil-A cashier on those dates that you are there to support FBLA. The Chick-fil-A wheel will be available, with food prizes for a $1.00 donation as well.
